Welcome to part two of our journey into super cheap "dagashi" sweets. Today we look at some bite-size caramels.
Continuing in the long tradition of beautifully designed packaging so common of Japanese goods, the exterior of these caramels is just as stimulating as the actual candy itself. Produced by candy behemoth Meiji, we found them at a local dagashi store in Osaka.
Of course they taste good, but the real kicker here is the captivating design.
