Country Ma'am is the queen of the cookie world in Japan. The brand specializes in the small, soft and chewy variety, producing typical staples like chocolate chip alongside more adventurous flavors like cream cheese and strawberry.

These Whole Fruit Apple Cakes (called Marugoto Kajitsu in Japanese) abandon the circular shape of the cookie entirely, opting for a cylindrical cake-like treat. As the brand's name recalls, each little cake is filled with nostalgia, bringing back memories of holiday dinners and home-cooked meals.
